We are pleased to announce our participation at next week's International Society for Biological and Environmental Repositories (ISBER) 2015 Annual Meeting in Phoenix, AZ. This year's theme, Bridging the Canyon - Connecting Biobank Communities through Innovations in Global Health, Research and Environmental Preservation, will focus on cutting edge technology, equipment, and best practices in the specimen collection, assay and biobanking industry. ISBER 2015 is the premier global event in the field of repository and specimen management and we are honored to showcase our services and products in conjunction with our parent company, Thermo Fisher Scientific.
In addition to attending the meeting, cold storage expert, Alex Esmond, is also hosting a workshop on Tuesday, May 5th at 4PM entitled Managing the Cold Chain to Minimize Pre-analytical Variability. Ensuring samples are maintained at the proper temperature throughout all processes is imperative to maximize long term viability and usability. This means not only during the processing and preparation of samples for analysis or storage, but also during the transportation process. In this workshop, our biobank experts will discuss the importance of maintaining the cold chain during sample transport and offer some practical ways to do so.
If you're unable to attend our workshop but would like to learn more about the services we provide or our featured products, please swing by our booth at #202! From our booth, you will have the opportunity to win a CryoCradle™, our new product that standardizes sample handling. Our team looks forward to discussing some of the challenges you're facing and determining a way to improve efficiency at every stage of the workflow; from sample collection to storage.
