The 13th Annual Cold Chain GDP & Temperature Management Summit, Canada's premier cold chain logistics event, is being held this week in Montreal. This year's agenda includes an expanded program focused on clinical supply, biologics, supply chain integrity, and small pharma and biotech supply chains. Speakers from across the life sciences industry are scheduled to present diverse viewpoints on topics ranging from biologics distribution and requirements to temperature mapping. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with companies operating in pharmaceuticals, health technologies, biotechnology, and contract manufacturing/research, as well as visit warehouse and distribution facilities in one of Canada’s biggest logistics hubs.
In addition to attending the Summit, our Cell Therapy Logistics expert, Dan O’Donnell, will facilitate a discussion on Adapting the Chain of Custody for Cell Based Products into their Current Procedures. Dan has extensive experience in the development and deployment of strategies for the distribution of cell-based therapies and clinical agents for phase II and III clinical trials, in both international and domestic locations.
The summit will also be supported by our sister business unit within Thermo Fisher Scientific. Alex Guillen, Global Cold Chain Director at Fisher Clinical Services, will present Leng Lian: Cold Chain Strategies and Applications for Successful Clinical Research & Development in China. His presentation will address the growing need for biopharmaceutical cold chain support in the Chinese market, as well as the challenges and issues that are arising in the Chinese pharmaceutical industry.
