We at Fisher BioServices are excited to share our recent and upcoming participation at three industry conferences, with three opportunities to provide new case studies and insights. Dan O'Donnell, our Director of Cell Therapy Logistics, who is widely known for his expertise in ultra cold chain distribution and regulatory compliance in the transport of biologics and cell-based therapeutics, will speak at two of these events. Both occur in September, in Boston: Mr. O'Donnell recently spoke at the Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine Conference on September 15th and 16th (speaking on the 15th), and for those who missed this event, Mr. O'Donnell will present again at the 12th Annual Cold Chain GDP & Temperature Management Logistics Global Forum from September 29th through October 3rd (speaking on the 30th). He will also be exhibiting at the Stem Cell Meeting on the Mesa in La Jolla, CA, on October 7th through 9th. Dan also recently published a video blog that you can find in this previous post

At all of these events, Mr. O'Donnell will share the variables that must be considered when planning end-to-end ultra cold chain logistic solutions for high-value biologics. He also offers startling insights on oft-overlooked elements that influence the performance of dry shippers. At the second, he will share his expertise in the cold chain management of blood and tissue in a biobank setting. Dan has written several of our eBooks and expert insight blog articles. His most recent video blog is provided below for those of you who missed it.

Our participation in the 12th Annual Cold Chain Global Forum will be collaborative, and include experts from two of our sister business units within Thermo Fisher Scientific. Alex Guillen from Fisher Clinical Services will present "Leng Lian: Cold Chain Strategies and Applications for Successful Clinical Research & Development in China". He will address specifically on the growing need for biopharmaceutical cold chain support in the Chinese market, and illustrate the challenges and issues that are arising in the Chinese pharmaceutical industry using a case study format. We will also be exhibiting together with experts from Priority Solutions International. In addition, we proudly note that Life Technologies, our newest brand in Thermo Fisher Scientific, is a platinum sponsor of the Stem Cell Meeting on the Mesa.
