Fisher BioServices, a Thermo Fisher Scientific brand,  is proud to announce our full support of Phacilitate’s 11th Annual Cell & Gene Therapy Forum Washington Meeting to be held on January 26-28 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC.  Over 150 biopharma industry leaders will be in attendance to share their expertise in cell & gene therapy, immunotherapy, and stem cells as discovery & research tools.

In addition to attending Phacilitate, Fisher BioServices will host an on-site tour of our facility in Rockville, MD on Sunday, January 25th.

Our Cell Therapy Logistics expert, Dan H. O’Donnell, will give an introductory presentation, An Introduction to Ultra Cold Chain Product Management and Cell Therapy Logistics, which will uncover a number of critical processes that are often overlooked by most during cell therapy clinical and commercialization.  Following the presentation, our Director of Commercial Operations, Bruce C. Simpson, will guide attendees through our biorepository facility and showcase the following:

    • Major infrastructure and design layout in the state-of-the-art biobank
    • Various technologies, devices, and equipment that are used to manage critical biological samples and biologic APIs
    • Various key aspects within the Cell Therapy Logistics operation hub that Dan O’Donnell has alluded to in his presentation

If you are interested in attending this tour you must be registered to attend Phacilitate Washington 2015.  Register here to attend.
